Goal

IRIC is participating in Light The Night Montréal on Octobre 26 to fight blood cancers.

We’re proud to support the blood cancer community through Light The Night.

Blood cancers are the fifth most common form of cancer in Canada, affecting more than 155,000 Canadians—our family members, our friends and neighbours, our colleagues, ourselves. But together, we can shine a light toward a future without blood cancers.

IRIC

An ultramodern training centre and research hub, the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancerology (IRIC) of l’Université de Montréal was created in 2003 to elucidate the mechanisms of cancer and to accelerate the discovery of novel and more effective therapies against this disease. This includes leukemia and lymphoma research.

Since its creation, the Insitute strives to change the cancer research landscape while acting as a leader in training the next generation of scientists, generating new knowledge, and discovering new therapies. To uncover new results, to better understand and treat cancer, IRIC follows its own path.
