Ever since my very first Light the Night in 2018, I have been so grateful to participate in an evening filled with vulnerability, strength and boundless opportunities to meet and hear from incredible fighters and thrivers. I have been blessed to be a part of an experience larger than anything I could hope for; an experience that brings the community together for a common goal: ending blood cancers.
On January 2, 2018, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. In a single instant, my entire life changed. On October 31, 2019, I was lucky enough to be put into remission. This Halloween, I will be celebrating my 5 years of remission. There are not enough words to explain how lucky I am to be here and how thankful I am to be able to help raise money and awareness for blood cancers.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) needs our help to strive towards a world that is blood cancer free. Please help support our cause in any way that you can.
Thank you. :)
