Welcome to my personal fundraising page for ‘of the Year’ campaign.
I have been volunteering and fundraising for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma society (LLSC) since 2012 when my first “why”, two year old Charli was diagnosed with leukaemia. Something no child and their family should be faced with. Today Charli is a thriving 12 year old and that is in part by the research that was conducted via fundraising dollars. Unfortunately my “why” does not stop there and this is why I continue to do what I can to support the LLSC.
I have joined a team, the Purple Warriors, that is driven to stand up for the blood cancer community, and help end blood cancers. Over the next 10 weeks, we are striving to raise the most amount of money.
If our #TeamLane raises the most money, Heather will win the official title of Woman of the Year!
As you know, though, everyone wins when cancer loses.
With every donation, you bring hope and healing to the blood cancer community, who need us now more than ever. Your contributions propel vital research, provide information in the hands of those who need it most and offer personalized support to over 100,000 Canadians and families affected by a blood cancer!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting the blood cancer community and leading us closer to a world without blood cancers!
