I am happy to be stepping up to compete to be Woman of The Year.
With innovation, passion and confidence I will lead our team to success.
Always open to new opportunities and challenges, when nominated by our good friend, Jeff Chow, (a survivor himself) to participate in Man & Woman of the Year, I couldn't say NO!
Having been touched by cancer in numerous ways, this was an easy next step to positively influence my network and support the blood cancer community.
While competitive at heart, winning this competition by reaching a personal fundraising goal, growing individually and spreading awareness across Northumberland County and beyond is the true definition of becoming LLSC Woman of the Year.
I have created a team that is driven to stand up for the blood cancer community, and help end blood cancers. Over the next 10 weeks, we are striving to raise the most amount of money.
If our team raises the most money, they will win the official title of Man or Woman of the Year!
As you know, though, everyone wins when cancer loses.
