Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Light The Fight Hockey Tournament in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada! I'll be taking to the ice, alongside my team on Saturday, May 28, at George Bell Arena. The tournament is being organized by Woman of the Year Toronto candidate Kathleen Gnocato as part of her fundraising campaign. She has set an ambitious goal of $50,000 for her campaign and I am excited to play a role in it!
To participate, my team must collectively raise $2,500 in support of the LLSC’s mission to fund less harmful treatments and ultimately a cure for blood cancer and to improve the quality of life for all those impacted by blood cancers. For added incentive, the more we raise the greater our chances of securing the top draft pick of Olympic athletes also participating in the tournament!
I am participating to change the landscape of blood cancers in Canada. Every 24 minutes someone in Canada is diagnosed with a blood cancer and I want to change this statistic! Every donation helps.
