The very least I can do is help support patients & the hope of finding cures for all types of blood cancers which today affect over 155,000 Canadians.
I found out I was haploidentical to my sister when she was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, or Ph+ALL. Since that day my family and I have learned a lot about how so many cancer patients here in Canada rely on the goodwill of a sometimes small list of international donors for transplants for their possible cures to fight their cancers. The odds of finding a 100% match can be daunting enough, and if lucky to find a donor, the journey afterwards can be filled with Graft versus Host Disease (GvHD) risks & their complications.
Thank you to everyone who supported my 2021 Team's efforts, this year I am hoping to do better! Please join me in showing your support, by encouraging me with a donation!
Sincerely,
Jenna xox :)
