I am honoured and humbled to be considered for the "Visionary of the Year" award. I was nominated by Leanne Myles, who continues to work with this organization even after her 10 week campaign “Woman of the Year” ended. She is a proud member of our community, gives unconditionally and she inspires me to take chances and follow my dreams. I want to share my passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of those navigating the challenging path of healing, by creating a space for people seeking a more meaningful and purposeful life.
As the co-founder and head teacher of Studio Twenty Two Wellness Club, my goal is to bring about positive change by fostering awareness and providing a supportive sanctuary for all. Studio Twenty Two is more than just a wellness club; it's a haven for individuals seeking solace, hope, and support on their healing journeys. In my pursuit of the "Visionary of the Year" award, my primary focus is to bring greater awareness to our club, ensuring that more people recognize it as a safe space where they can find comfort and companionship.
I am dedicated to expanding the reach of Studio Twenty Two, not only as a space for physical wellness but as a resource for comprehensive support. Our club aims to offer tools for better health and wellness, and I am committed to exploring and delving deeper into the diverse avenues available to us. By doing so, we can provide a holistic approach to healing, addressing not only the physical aspects but also the emotional and mental well-being of our community.
Winning the "Visionary of the Year" award would grant me the platform to amplify awareness about Studio Twenty Two, encouraging more individuals to seek refuge in our community. I believe that by spreading the word, we can create a network of support that extends far beyond the confines of our club, empowering lives and fostering a sense of hope that is vital on the journey towards recovery. I have shared many personal moments with members of our community who have been diagnosed with cancer, who know someone with cancer, and others who have lost someone, and if I can provide them with even the slightest bit of hope then I will continue to do anything I can to help.
In conclusion, my vision is rooted in the belief that everyone touched by leukemia and lymphoma deserves a community where they can find solace, support, and tools for their overall well-being. I am eager to champion this cause and contribute to the LLS mission of creating a world without blood cancers.
