I'm proud to join the ranks of the Visionaries of the Year campaign. I'm pumped to team up with fellow innovators, each dedicated to supporting the blood cancer community.
As one of Ben Pawluk's lacrosse coaches, I've had the privilege of witnessing his remarkable journey firsthand. Ben's resilience in the face of blood cancer has been nothing short of inspirational, and it's an honour to support him both on and off the field.
Together with my coaching counterpart, Darren, we understand the fundamental role coaches play in not only shaping players' skills but also fostering a supportive community where everyone can thrive. Ben's journey has highlighted the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and the unwavering support of those around him.
Aligned with the values of the Visionaries of the Year, we're determined to make a tangible difference in the fight against blood cancers. From March to May, our community will embark on a 10-week fundraising campaign in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). These funds will drive crucial research, provide essential services, and advocate for individuals and families affected by these diseases.
Your support matters deeply to us. Every donation not only fuels our campaign but also sends a powerful message of solidarity to those battling blood cancers. Together, we can make a meaningful impact, one dollar at a time.
But it's not just about financial contributions. Your voice is invaluable in spreading awareness and rallying others to join our cause. By coming together as a community, both on and off the field, we can uplift and support those affected by blood cancers, offering hope and strength in their time of need.
Thank you for supporting us as we champion the blood cancer community during Visionaries of the Year. Together, we're not just raising funds; we're lighting the way to a future free from cancer's grip.
