Just over two year ago I got asked to be a candidate for Visionary of the Year for the LLSC - I not only said yes, but I won.
After being diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in July of 2022 and learning that this type of blood cancer is chronic, I decided I would do whatever I could to help not only myself, but the millions of others who are affected by blood cancer.
When I participated in raising money for the LLSC I had no idea what I was doing. But with support from the incredible staff, my team, and our entire community, we raised over $135,000. It just goes to show that anything is possible.
While I'm currently wrapping up two years of maintenance, and I am very lucky to be feeling good, I know that I will forever support the LLSC and all of the great work they do, and it would mean so much to me if you could too. Truly, every little bit helps.
