Michael's Minions, on a mission to find a cure began in 2017, when Michael received a blood cancer diagnosis at the tender age of eighteen. Acute Lymphoblastic B-cell Philadelphia leukemia, a mouthful of a diagnosis nobody seen coming.

Michael?s diagnosis quickly shifted his view on life, the essence of time, and purpose. He exemplified what it truly meant to live life in the moment. his tenacious spirit refused to surrender, as he embarked on a protocol journey of HOPE. He knew wholeheartedly navigating through the trenches would be anything but easy. His remarkable courage, unmeasuarable strength, determination and perserverance from a young adult was beyond inspiring.

No matter the provided literature, or medical teams textbook advice outlining Michael?s fate, he immediately took charge and requested difficult conversations be had. Despite the uncertainty of his diagnosis, he wanted to share his story. His experience is more than just a story, it?s a lifeline for others like him.

His vision of living in a world without blood cancer was clear. Although he knew he wouldn?t be here to witness his vision coming into fruition, he encouraged us to turn our pain into purpose. He insisted we continue to be his voice, raising awareness and supporting everyone affected, long after his passing.

We know firsthand that vision we all hope for just isn?t built in labs across the globe. It?s undeniably driven by everyday people turning HOPE into action. Collectively your support is vital in helping scientists and clinicians in developing new innovative treatments aiming to not only improve quality of life and survival rate, but ultimately leading us closer to a cure.

Although Michael?s fight ended on March 19, 2019, ours is far from over.
