Team United Montreal (The Rosato Sisters)

We are Team United and our family has been raising money for the LLSC for the last 14 years!

Blood cancer first touched our lives in 2010, when our father was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma shortly after our mother was diagnosed with an acute form of the disease. To help our family members cope with the loss of their beloved grandmother, we decided to host a lemonade sale and a bake sale with our friends and family. Our family wanted to make a difference. We made $166 from that first sale alone and with everyone’s generosity, we were able to donate a grand total of $1,915 to the LLSC. Our hearts were filled with hope and joy as we United with loved ones and we remembered our mom.

The small idea quickly grew and flourished to become our annual bake sale. Year after year, the small event grew through word-of-mouth amongst our family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues, each year bringing new faces and new members to help us in our fight against blood cancer. It’s important to highlight that without the support of our community, we would not be able to make the impact we’ve made over the last 14 years. We are honoured to be a part of such an incredible community. We would like to invite you to our annual bake sale on Sunday, October 5 at the Parc du Royal - 22e Régiment (3325, av. des Ambassadeurs, Laval), from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. You can expect lots of good food and entertainment, and an amazing raffle. Our home bakers are already baking delicious desserts to share with you at our event. Your presence and support will be greatly appreciated.
