FIRST ONSITE is proud to sponsor and support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) on behalf of our friend and colleague, Todd Yuen.

Todd is an extraordinary husband, a dedicated father of three young children, and truly one of the most inspiring individuals you could ever meet. If you’ve had the privilege of crossing paths with Todd as a friend, coworker, or even in passing, you know how fortunate you are. His strength of character, compassion for others, and unwavering optimism truly set him apart.

In late 2022, Todd began feeling unwell for several months. After countless visits to doctors and no clear diagnosis, he went to Maple Ridge Hospital in January 2023 due to extreme fatigue. Within 24 hours, he was diagnosed with Leukemia and urgently transferred to Vancouver General Hospital. Despite the sudden and life-altering diagnosis, Todd remained remarkably positive and focused on others even while undergoing intensive treatment. His strength and resilience led him into remission in April but the cancer came back in July and a few months later he went into remission again later that year.

Todd eventually returned to work and resumed daily life, continuing to uplift everyone around him. However, in December Todd began to experience new symptoms and returned to the hospital, where he learned that his cancer had returned. Since then, he has been undergoing chemotherapy and regular blood transfusions.

Even in the face of adversity, Todd continues to fight with grace, humility, and optimism, impacting everyone around him in a meaningful and positive way. His courage and selflessness are the reason First Onsite is honoured to support the LLSC in his name.

Each employee at FIRST ONSITE, stands with Todd and the many others affected by blood cancers. Our goal is that through continued research, awareness, and support, we can bring hope and healing to more families as together, we find a cure.
